FLOOD CONTROL RESEARCH CENTRE

 Introduction

 

Flood Control Research Centre (FCRC) was established on January 18, 2013 under the Faculty of Civil Engineering (FKA), UiTM. Establishment of Flood Control Research Centre (FCRC) is intended to help the faculty implement the latest research for the solution of the overall flood problem effectively and efficiently. It would also be a relevant reference floods mainly tropical deluge.

 

This research centre now has a number of researchers UiTM vast experience in the field of flood control and management, as well a large number of research students involved in research related to flooding. To strengthen the network of knowledge, expertise and referral sources, four (4) of the world's top universities in the same field will provide the collaboration of Colorado State University, USA, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, India, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT ), Bangkok, Thailand and the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
